This place was a last minute book and plenty of parking behind a closed gate. Rooms were spacious. No windows but just what we needed for an overnight places. Has rooftop views and a gorgeous garden area
I expected a cleaner room. We were attacked by several mosquitoes and had to battle it out. Rooms need a good refurbishment and the once majestic place needs a good tidy up. Location is very near to the train station for Napoli. Breakfast carrot cake was starting to mold, lack of attention by everyone leads to a place which is neglected.
My friends and I loved the actual place and the staff took care of our every need. Enjoyed the use of their swimming pool, the rooms were clean and spacious. The place has a restaurant (excellent breakfast, also had dinner there) and a bar next to the lobby. The only drawback in my opinion is the surrounding area, which is pretty rundown. But that's no fault of theirs....
We had an amazing time at Villa Signorini. Rooms are very specious and beautiful. The service is great. Staff is very friendly.
In particular Mario is a wonderful manager, we had an issue with our online booking, he managed the situation very well and professionally. I recommend Villa Signorini to everyone. Many thanks. Berrin and the family.
The hotel is a huge WOW absolutely stunning, everything we wanted with the Italian character. Once you walk through the main gateway you are transported back in time .|The restaurant staff were lovely, chatty and funny . We had lunch ,on …
A family owned hotel with the care and attention you'd expect. Our experience was a team that couldn't have done more to help and accommodate us and our guests. Having booked the whole hotel, we saw that rooms vary widely so it's worth spending a little more as they range from acceptable to absolutely spectacular. A good location; fabulous pool with bar; amazing cleaning staff and a delightful hotel.
Courteous welcome, and directions on how to park the car (in an inner courtyard in the shade of small trees). Rooms range from functional to Italianate suites, our room was spotless and cool.|Pool and gardens all good.|Meals all well …
It should be known that not all rooms display the art, nor even look anywhere near as good as the photos. As I mentioned in my booking we had flown all the way from Australia to celebrate our anniversary so requested something special - instead we were met with what was the worst room in the hotel. Not as displayed (Jnr Suite), no period art, not even a clean floor which would be safe to walk on with no shoes.
I honestly felt like we were at a bush camp. The stairs creaked like they would fall apart and had exposed nails, metal etc. it was dusty, there was no phone for the room. There were marks on the walls like you would expect at a high school hallway. The key unlock sound was akin to a jail visiting cell buzz (was kinda funny)
We were advised not to eat in the room due to insects.
I asked to change room but we were told we couldn’t - I felt bad for the guy because he clearly knew we had been screwed and the regret in his face was evident as he couldn’t do anything about it.
I suggest that room (114) gets put on renovation before anyone has it again because it was seriously a dump. If you’re going for the Jnr Suite - be aware!
